Gramothsava FAQ’s
1. What is the objective of Gramothsava?
Children’s Day, will be a day for our students to reckon with our village folks. Variety of rich tradition, culture and village lifestyle is being brought at the doorstep of the school. Truly, a gift to the children of Kumarans to live the moment and treasure it for their lives. The fund is also being raised for charity.
2. What can you expect at Gramothsava?
You can expect a lot at Gramothsava! Plenty of time and efforts has been put in to bring authenticity to the event. Young and old will enjoy every moment on November 12th. From dances to games, from exhibits to food, it’s all happening at Gramothsava.
3. What are the other costs that you may incur during Gramothsava?
Probably you may spend at Ajji adigemane (food court),Mallasandra santhe (amusement area), Gandhi gram (Khadi Bandar outlet), auto, mineral water bottles etc.
4. Will there be transport facility to the school on that day?
No. You need to make your own transport arrangement.
5. What is the dress code at Gramothsava?
To keep the spirit of Gramothsava, parents and children, can come dressed in any typical village costume relevant to our state. This dress code is optional.
6. Can parents associate with Gramothsava?
Parents can certainly associate with the children’s day
celebration. More the merrier. Some options could be (1) Sponsoring the event (2) Ticket sales (3)Volunteering. You can reach us on veena.bs@kumarans.org.
7. Can the very young and senior citizen enjoy Gramothsava?
Yes! Care has been taken for the safety and security of all. Autos are available for ferrying people within the campus. First aid, Ambulance and Information Centre facilities are in place. Water and beverage counters are strategically placed.
8. Is some information omitted in this document?
Yes. You may always feel some more information is necessary. As it is a mega event, the organizing process will be continuously updated, refined and reworked. So, please keep yourself informed with the happenings on the Pupilpod.
